The Auggie is an adorable and spirited hybrid who takes some of the most desirable traits from their Australian Shepherd and Corgi parents and combines them into one fun-loving, portable package. Their coats can vary, with some exhibiting the longer, thicker fur of the Aussie parent while others have the Corgi’s shorter but still dense double coat. Coat colors range widely too, including red merle, blue merle, black, and tan points. Despite their small size, Auggies are active herding dogs at heart who need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation.
